Great meals at great prices. Get there early on the weekend though as it does fill up fast and has seating for maybe only 40. Owners a nice man, walks around usually socializing with guests. Waitresses are quick and correct with your order and very friendly as well. A great local staple of Stratford, ON.

The best sandwiches in town.The staff is very welcoming. The food is so tasty with fast service. The price is reasonable. Everything you should expect from a diner.We ordered the classic triple decker club and Sunday's special BELT (bacon egg lettuce tomatos). Both are made of fresh materials and served nicely. The dessert, chocolate peanut butter pie, is full of flavor and tastes perfectly balanced.Everyone should try Joe's Diner.

Almost a 4 star. But it is a diner. Decent food and portions are a bit small considering the cost.

Everything was great. Place was packed. Food was hot and fresh....everything had that "homemade" look and taste. I didn't try the pies....but did they ever look good, maybe next time.

We live have the week in Stratford and half the week in Toronto, when we first moved to Stratford 2 years ago, we were blown away by there spaghetti and meatballs - the owner Blaine Myers and son and for that matter all the staff are always amazing.

We went there on the long weekend and the place was packed but our food came very fast. Food was great, home fries could use a little seasoning but they were nice and crispy. Only reason we put 4/5 instead of 5 was the cutlery and cups were all dirty. A table beside us even sent back their coffee because of it. I think their dishwasher needs upgrading. Friendly service and decent prices

I loved my experience here on the 18th. Loved that it wasn't overloaded with decor like some places are - I like that it was really simple. The service was super fast and the food was absolutely delicious with large portion sizes, which usually I wouldn't care for, but the food was so good that I didn't mind it at all. Our waitress was also super kind and very friendly. Just loved how it felt very local and very real. Would definitely come back again.
